MS-DOS Commands

I hate Windows Vista.

For some reason, Vista would not allow me to rename or delete a video file (.avi) that I ripped from a DVD. Each time I try to modify the file, Windows explorer would hang then say "(Not Responding)". In the past (this happens quite often), I would reboot the computer and that would fix the problem for awhile. Today however, I still could not rename/delete the file after 3 restarts. Finally, I rebooted the system one more time, pulled up a DOS window (Start > Run... > CMD), and typed "cd Videos" followed by "del *.avi".

Arg! DOS commands... :( You have to be pretty old to remember this stuff.
