DO NOT TOUCH ME!

The PR guy in the clip, Marc Slavin, is a SF city employee. His salary in 2009 was ~$132k. You'd think he would be a bit more professional.

Looking at the SF salary database further, it looks like a lot of people make >$100k. Especially interesting is the overtime pay. There are a lot of police/fire captains on the list. Why do they get overtime? Aren't management exempt from OT laws? Is this something negotiated by the unions? Also, a lot of people's OT salary is greater than their regular salary. That doesn't make sense. Assuming that overtime is 1.5x, then hiring another person would get you 100% more productivity. If this was a private company, this would have been fixed a long time ago.
