Strike One on 6th YouTube Account

After a little more than 500k video views, my sixth YouTube upload account got strike one today. Surprisingly, they flagged 12 old videos that I re-uploaded from a previously deleted account; nothing new was flagged.

Well, that means I have to start a new account once more. I think I'm going to set a limit at nine account. After that, I'll retire and let someone else continue the upload.

No Mo' SGB

It appears that Star Golden Bell (Korean variety show) is no more. It has been replaced with something called Oh! My School. The first subtitled episode is on tonight on KBS World so I'll record it and see how it is... it's supposed to have a similar format and guests as Star Golden Bell.

Chuseok Special Shows

After my two week Asia trip, where I had to program the cable box and DVD recorder, I'm now more lax about recording Korean TV shows. I used to swap out a DVD after each episode; now I let it record an entire week of shows before ripping and uploading to YouTube. This week, I forgot to check the online schedule so I recorded the same time slots. When I went to review the DVD, I found that instead of recording Happy Together and Invincible Youth, I ended up recording a Korean wrestling competition and some weird show without subtitles. Oh well, at least I didn't miss recording anything.

Star Golden Bell Challenge

This is another Korean TV show that I watch quite often. It's on every week and usually you don't find many fansubs for the entire episode since there's a lot of talking. KBS World does show it with English subtitles but again, they're about one month behind. This is episode 271 with After School in line 4.

Happy Together Season 3

I recorded episode 133 from KBS World last night. I've noticed that their shows don't start and end on schedule so even though I recorded for 90 minutes, I only got 55 minutes of the show; the last 5 minutes got cut off. The shows are about a month behind the original airing dates in Korea for them to add English subtitles. This episode originally aired on January 21st, 2010.

Here's part 1. I ripped the entire show as one MP4 file and used QuickTime Pro to select 10 minute MOV segments for upload to YouTube.
