I've been using an old Dell Latitude D410 at work for the past 4 years and it was giving me a lot of problems. When my analyst quit on Friday, I was able to snag her computer as a replacement. It's a newer Dell Latitude D820 so it should be faster though it's much heavier. I used to drag the D410 everywhere but now I take my Sony Vaio on personal trips so I can leave the large notebook computer at work.
Old computer:
Dell Latitude D410
Pentium M - 1.86GHz
1GB RAM / 60GB HDD
LCD - 1024 x 768
New computer:
Dell Latitude D820
Core2 T7200 - 2.0GHz
2GB RAM / 100GB HDD
LCD - 1920 x 1200
IT didn't give back my Apple sticker so I have to find another one to stick on my new computer.
