K-pop Concert this Saturday

The 7th Korea Times Music Festival is this Saturday at Hollywood Bowl. I think tickets were sold out awhile ago but there are still people selling their tickets at forums. The tickets are pretty expensive, ranging from $80 to $200 for good seats... I guess that's not too bad since I paid $100 to sit behind the sound board at a Jane Zhang concert in Pasadena.

Anyway, if I had a date (who likes K-pop), I would consider picking up two terrace tickets and go this Saturday. Artists/groups performing include Baek Ji Young (I missed her concert in March), SNSD, SHINee, Lena Park, SS501, and a bunch of people I haven't heard of. Actually, I would probably pay $100 just to see BJY and SNSD. One of the members of SNSD is from Diamond Bar so this is a homecoming concert of sorts. I wonder how many non-Korean will be there.

Baek Ji Young

SNSD (소녀시대) or Girls' Generation

I read online that for their Thailand concert, SNSD flew from Seoul to Bangkok arriving at 2am, went to their hotel to sleep, rehearsed during the day, performed at night, then returned to Korea right after the concert. Crazy.
