Wow! My post about poor customer service at the Chengdu Consulate is currently #4 on Google Search if you type in "chengdu consulate complaint" and it's only been ~12 hours.

it a respectable #73 if you just search "Chengdu Consulate". maybe your friend can pull some strings in mountain view to get it to #1. it would be funny to get it placed before the official US embassy website.
unfortunately, if the US consulate sees this it will most likely torpedo the application. then again, they reject so many each day it may be tough for them to link to a specific application.
